About Us
I have been making custom parts for the last six years with many satisfied customers.
Originally I had purchased the necessary equipment to work on personal patent prototypes. Starting out with a mini lathe, moved on to a full size Bridgeprt the next year. Now I am a fairly small, but capable machine shop very well suited for prototype work, rare machine part requirements, and general custom machine part requirements.  At John's Tool Room a higher level of service can be expected.  Basically I am available for your metalworking needs no job is too big or too small.

           I offer
  • Design consultation
  • Professional blueprinting
  • General machining
  • Small quantities are my specialty
  • I can outsource EDM, heat treating, 5 axis CNC  at reasonable rates

Company history
With various machinist experiences throughout my life, I have decided to give my own business a try.  Currently I am at a stage that most people would call startup.  In the next year or two I am looking to move into the world of Computer Numeric Control capabilities.
Customer testimonials
Just wanted to let the readers know that I have had a positive experience with fellow RFQWork user Madmachinist.  He recently bid on some lathe work items that I had up for quote. He was in constant contact and delivered promptly.  Parts were made per my specifications and turned out well. He was pleasant to deal, and was more than happy to discuss design improvements and potential issues.  I suspect that he will be hearing from me in the future for more work.
Thanks,
